Dr. Repp has published an astronomy article, which will appear in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (one of the top scientific astronomy journals). His co-authors for this article include Istvan Szápudi (at the University of Hawaii), Ravi Sheth (at the University of Pennsylvania), and Yan-Chuan Cai (at the University of Edinburgh). The article mathematically analyzes a promising new technique for getting more information about the universe from surveys of galaxies. For the next step, Dr. Repp and his collaborators plan to test this technique with simulations and then with real data.
